Backpacker Special with Ice Climbing, Rafting, Camping and Hiking

Finally, an overnight adventure with transportation from Anchorage specially designed for the budget traveller.

• Day 1: stay at the Arctic Adventure Hostel
• Day 2: MICA Guides picks you up at the hostel at 7am, and drives you to the Matanuska Glacier. Spend the day ice climbing. That evening enjoy dinner and camping overlooking the ice.
• Day 3: Whitewater rafting and alpine hiking. MICA Guides drives you back to the Arctic Adventure Hostel by approximately 6pm. Sleep at the hostel.

Note: The trip departs Anchorage on Wednesdays and Fridays. Reservations required 48 hours in advance. No refunds given within 48 hours of the tour.

Price includes:

• 2 nights at the hostel
• All meals and snacks from Lunch on Day 2 through Lunch on Day 3
• All technical equipment -- ice axes, mountaineering boots, harness, helmet, drysuit, tent, sleeping pad

You provide: Personal clothing, sleeping bag, water bottle, daypack. Sleeping bag rentals available at the hostel.

$585 for 2 people -- you can choose either 1 private room, or 2 dorm beds to sleep in at the hostel.

$295 for 1 person staying in a dorm room at the hostel.
